Edge of the World is a set of stickers created by Donald X. Vaccarino for the 1996 Manafest gaming convention. This set is unique in the realm of third-party card sets in that it was actually approved by WotC, subject to a number of conditions. The stickers could not be sold, and could not be packaged in booster packs. They were distributed as prizes for winning the various tournaments held at Manafest that year as well as a number of sealed-deck tournaments. It is estimated that there are no more than 60 sets were printed, with most of them distributed at Manafest. The Edge of the World stickers were printed only in black & white.

One Edge of the World card was spotted by Mark Rosewater, and later appeared as a real Magic card (with the designer's permission). This card is The Machine That Builds Itself, which became Tempest's Energizer. Furthermore, the flavor text for this card was paraphrased for Flowstone Sculpture. Another card, Knowledge Demon, used a mechanic that later showed up in a famous, Maro-created card (although the latter card was an independent creation).

Manafest merged with GameCon and was rechristened KublaCon. While they no longer make custom Magic stickers, they do continue to host one of the best gaming conventions in the world.
